What a gem of a place this is. Donna and her team have made The Pendle Witch into a fantastic little venue. A warm welcome awaited us when we arrived and nothing was too much trouble for them. Just enough room to setup comfortably which gave the place a real intimate, homely feeling – just the kind of place you want to spend a Friday night in, listening to some quality music.
Apart from a small problem with a restless bass drum trying to wander off for a little walk, the night went fantastically well. The crowd loved the music and the band loved playing for them.
It’s grass roots venues like this that we need more of, and the small town of Atherton seems to have more than its fair share – Who’d a thought?
Great gig – can’t wait to get back there.
